Endings and Beginnings on a Number 1 day!

Learn Tarot Online Card of the Day for Friday 10th April 2009.
Today I drew the 4 of Swords card and Greg drew the Death card.
4 of Swords
Death
This is a very interesting combination of cards today. I have not been sleeping very well, so the 4 of Swords really summed up how I felt this morning. I felt tired and lacking energy.
The Death card is very relevant for today, as it is a card of change and represents old stuff ending and new things beginning. From a Christian perspective, today is Good Friday, which is the day Jesus died on the cross, only to rise again 3 days later.
Today is the 10th, which is a number 1 day, which represents the start of new cycles and it is also the day of the Full Moon in Libra. The Full Moon represents cycles coming to an end and new ones beginning.
With the 4 of Swords and the Death, I think this is telling us that old patterns and cycles are coming to an end and it is time to rest, recoup our energies and prepare ourselves for the next phase of growth.
There is no post (mail) today as it is Good Friday and is a Bank Holiday, so there is not likely to be anything coming on that front.
I have spent a lot of the day writing my next Tarot book and had a lot of fun with it. I am creating it as both a written and an audio book.
Greg spent the day making Hot Cross Buns and Easter Chocolate cake, which were delicious. He was certainly learning new things today.
He has also done the graphics for my book cover, so we will be able to submit it for printing very shortly.
We welcome in the changes, whatever they may be.
