Practical Uses of Tarot

Another great use of Tarot is for answering questions about a new job or career.  People often ask me whether a change is on the cards for them and really that can be quite a difficult question to answer because it depends on whether or not they really want to make a change and if so, what action steps they have or haven’t already taken.

When I read cards for people, there are nearly always new opportunities showing up around them. Whether they are open at this time to exploring them is another matter.

If someone is considering a new opportunity, whether that is within their current work or business or something completely different or something additional to what they are currently doing, Tarot cards can be very useful to see whether a particular opportunity would be good for them or not.

The first question people often ask me is “Should I do take this opportunity?” This is a question which essentially requires a yes-no answer. I have found that decisions are rarely that simple and there are often other factors to be considered before you can make a definite decision.

One of the easiest questions to ask is “What would be the outcome for me if I took that opportunity” and use a Celtic Cross spread.

Celtic Cross

This can be very useful because it can indicate the likely outcome for you, as well as any possible fears that you might have about the opportunity and people around you that maybe helpful or not to you.

You can add further rows from the bottom up, to add additional insights.

You can use this method for looking at all the options that you have open to you. Often the ideal solution is a combination of things. Frequently when you focus on an opportunity, that you are considering,  other ideas and intuitive insights will pop into your head.

The important thing is to them take action.

Once you have made a first, maybe fairly broad and general decision, you can then look at fine tuning the details, so that by the end of a few questions, you then have a fully formulated plan of action, including potentially people who would be able to help you with your plans.

Remember, Tarot cards cannot make decisions for you and cannot tell you what to do. However they can help you to clarify your thinking by pointing out potential successes and potential pitfalls, if you can on in the direction you are going. They can help give you the information for you to make informed choices in your life and business.

Asking quality questions will give you useful answers.

With abundant blessings.
