Stay in bed with the one you love!

Learn Tarot with the Card of the Day Saturday 28th March 2009.
Neither of us slept very well and the dog had decided to be sick at 5.30am, so we were a bit grumpy when we woke up.
Before we drew the cards, Greg asked me which card represented the idea of staying in bed, curled up in an anti-social ball, under the covers?
I suggested the 4 of Cups and had to laugh when he pulled out the 4 of Swords! (Next best thing!)
I drew the 2 of Cups.

Greg’s first reaction when he saw the cards was “well, does that mean the cards are telling me to stay snuggled up in bed with the one I love today?”
I suppose that would be a fairly accurate assessment!
The 4 of Swords is a feeling of being totally run-down, drained, tired and in need of physical, mental and emotional rest. It is a card of taking time-out to recharge your batteries.
The 2 of Cups is a soulmate card. It is a card of deep feeling, love, understanding, trust and friendship between two people. Love (represented) by the Cups is being mutually offered and accepted. It is a card of co-operation and harmony.
We didn’t really do a great deal during the day. We sat around and talked and drank lots of tea!
I did my first Tarot for Fun radio show in the evening. This can also be represented by the 2 of Cups for me, as Tarot is a real passion and I love to connect with people and share the wisdom of the Tarot with them.
